Introducing Klara and Shankar, two Future Academy Fellows!

Klara, with a background in political science, is interning at the Danish Consulate in Bengaluru while writing her master’s thesis and participating in Future Academy.

In her thesis, she explores how high school students use ChatGPT for self-learning, aiming to understand the nuances of their experiences and how to make this technology more accessible.

Klara particularly values the practical aspect of the fellowship, which encourages students to turn their learnings into concrete action.

Shankar is a law student in Bengaluru deeply involved in animal advocacy. During his studies, he conducted a literature review to understand the legal status of non-human animals in India.

As a fellow, Shankar has found hackathons particularly helpful for brainstorming new ideas and refining his impact project.

Together, they  created a pilot program on AI and education to enable teachers to make the most out of Chat GPT in the classroom.

They aim to make the pilot more self-sustainable in the long run, allowing volunteers to conduct independent workshops.
